Pastry, a South African high-quality, affordable skincare brand, required a logo and full visual brand identity from scratch. The challenge was to create a visual system that could be translated into product packing that would stand out in the crowded skincare category. The solution was found in an elegant custom-designed logotype that used a bold, modern serif.

A colour palette of sea green and the subtlest of pinks was chosen to break from the industry's monochromatic norms. Lastly the design was translated into a minimal and sleek packaging convention for the range of skincare products.
